PRINTER CASE STUDY

The Challenge

New customers always requested a sample of previous print jobs so they could see for themselves the quality of the work. Samples cost money as does shipping them via UPS or FedEx. Then, once an order was placed, additional shipping or (less effective) faxing was required to secure approval of the layout and blue lines prior to the actual printing.

All this added up to significant costs for the shipping as well as two to three days shipping time. Local clients required the same attention, however rather than shipping, door-to-door delivery was required sapping precious time from print shop operations.

The Solution

Video communications is an ideal way to allow customers to view products with the same accuracy and detail as in-person viewing. Multi-sensory messaging, such as graphic rich video emails, live webcasting and video instant messaging, offers a cost-effective solution for any retailer showing and selling products

The Results

Michael Abdoulah, President and Owner of The Print Wright Group, began using the helloWorld Studio to communicate with his customers. The savings in time and money
were immediate!

Now, instead of costly shipping, Michael can show customers samples and get approval of layouts all via the easy-to-use streaming video solutions such as graphic-rich video email, live webscasting, and video instant messaging. He’s realized a savings of up to 90% in samples that no longer need to be shipped and has shortened the sales cycle by as much as a week. What once took two to three days each way with shipping, now takes about two hours. He still maintains the personal relationship he’s always enjoyed with his customers, but now it’s through video email.

Michael reports his clients are thrilled with this new service. They appreciate the convenience and speed with which their products can be approved and delivered and he says the “Wow Factor” has put him miles ahead of the competition.
